another day

so saturday was another day, but it included my next belt testing in karate... i was testing for 6th kyu... matt said that my kata looked really good and looked as if i was totally focused, so that is a good thing... belt graduation is supposed to be tuesday, but i will not find out until wednesday... i got asked to work tuesday night and didn't think about it until afterwards... it is okay cause i am pretty sure that i passed my test... but if i am allowed to, i would like to double test for my green leader belt cause i will more than likely be ready for it... i was ready for saturday's test for about a month now and there isn't much more to learn to double test for my next belt... anyways, i am getting pretty tired, but i need to let Riley out again...

later today, we need to call the vet for Riley and find out how much it will cost for a basic check up and about clipping her nails... we would clip her nails if they were not black... don't want to cut too far... and, oh yeah, her paws are big and she is growing surely enough... she is going to be a big girl ( not so much tall, but big built)...

Matt out Riley in the garage tonight so he could go to work... then i am supposed to let her out when i get home from work... however, i figured that i would take a quick bath and then head to the store and then let her out... but she was howling when i heard her before heading to the store... Matt later said that she was not happy when he put her in there in the first place... earlier when i left for work, she knew that something was up, but she had all day with Matt to play with... i don't know... I think that she just figured that it was back to the messed up week when Matt and I come and go at different times... and with that comes times that she is put in the garage for a while... before we had her in the bathroom, but she was just messing stuff up in there... plus once i had almost thought that i lost my ring down the heating vent... my ring was in a plastic container on the sink counter and she got up there and knocked it over... i was not happy with her that day... even though, Matt would not have been mad about me losing it... it just means so much to me, since it was his mom's ring...

anyways, i am going to let her out... and get around for bed, so night all!!

new family member

so i figured that this was due for an update...

well, as you might know, we were looking for a puppy that we both liked... she was to be my birthday gift cause i am more of a dog person... plus, I could use the company with Matt gone often... well, I got my birthday gift early... she is the sweetest little thing... we named her Riley... she is a three month old siberian husky/rottweiler mix... i have pictures, but i have to find the cord so i can upload them... today we took her on her first walk... it was interesting to say the least... she really struggled with it in the beginning, but caught on real well on the return home... we walked her over to Matt's mom's house cause she wanted to see the puppy... while walking Riley, we were able to meet a couple about our age that lives about a block from us, which was nice...

well, as soon as i find that cord, i will post pics!! plus i will have to take a few shots of the house too...

but i will talk to you all later... starting to get sick, so i think i am going to lay down for a bit... later all!

just an overview

so this is just a quick update...
matt and i were able to finally get our announcement pictures taken... from what we could tell, they turned out real nicely... she is taking it home and going to mess around with them and then give them to us on a cd... this way we can print them out as needed...

the new job is going pretty well... yesterday i went in for someone who called in sick... but was not going to do it today cause 1) i had already been working seven days straight of eight hours each, 2) the overtime pay is nice and all, but it does not top seeing matt (matt came into shaffers after work just to see me yesterday morning cause it had been a while... i loved the surprise!), and 3) my next day off is not until tuesday of next week... but other than that my boss seems pleased with me... she said that she has been hearing many good comments, so i am happy that it is working out... esp since we could use the extra money and until i find a better job...

anyways, the process for getting the house is moving along... we have to get the house appraised this week or so... and then we can continue the paper work with one of the loan consultants that we have been talking to... hopefully, we can find a deal and soon!! i really, really like that house... and matt knows this... i think that that is the main reason that he is stressing and all... he wants to get the house for me, but he didnt realize all the fine details that we would have to go through to get it...

anyways, other than that, there is not much, esp that i can think of right now...
well, it is off the finish laundry and then bed for me, so night all!!!

got a new job!!!

so today I got the phone that said that I was hired for the restaurant in town!!! this will help out a lot since I wouldn't be paying as much for gas, plus I am getting paid $2.50 more at this restaurant... Anyways, I start on Monday, which means that I have to finish off working at Rita's for the rest of this weekend... kinda was hoping for the break before I needed to get used to my new schedule... I have to be at work by 6 am... This will be difficult for me since I am not a morning person, but I will get used to it over time... Anyways, this job is just something to hold me over until I get something that I really want!! Plus the extra money will help with the wedding and helping with the bills...
So now that I have this new job, I need to find out if I can still get Saturday completely off or what... cause it might mean that we won't be able to meet til later on that day, but I will find out when I go to fill out the paperwork...

Plus on June 29th, I might be able to sign up my first person for the karate school.... which I am pretty excited about cause that extra money will help out too.... And that is especially since I get money off of the student every time that they belt test, so it works for me!

Anyways, think I am going to head to bed, so I will ttyl!

still havent talked with Rachel about that day and what exactly she is doing and all... we will have to see as things get closer...

this was supposed to be a day that we got our announcement pictures done and then come down and visit... (are you going to be in Fostoria or Dayton??)

anyways, now plans have changed a little... Matt's band had scheduled a concert at 11 am on that day without telling him til afterwards.... so we are still coming down, but pictures are going to have to be taken another day... this means that he is just going to have to tell sensei that he is going to be late one night for karate cause I want them done before sending out invitations...

anyways, but i do have an interview tomorrow night, so i am excited!! wish me luck!
