got a new job!!!

so today I got the phone that said that I was hired for the restaurant in town!!! this will help out a lot since I wouldn't be paying as much for gas, plus I am getting paid $2.50 more at this restaurant... Anyways, I start on Monday, which means that I have to finish off working at Rita's for the rest of this weekend... kinda was hoping for the break before I needed to get used to my new schedule... I have to be at work by 6 am... This will be difficult for me since I am not a morning person, but I will get used to it over time... Anyways, this job is just something to hold me over until I get something that I really want!! Plus the extra money will help with the wedding and helping with the bills...
So now that I have this new job, I need to find out if I can still get Saturday completely off or what... cause it might mean that we won't be able to meet til later on that day, but I will find out when I go to fill out the paperwork...

Plus on June 29th, I might be able to sign up my first person for the karate school.... which I am pretty excited about cause that extra money will help out too.... And that is especially since I get money off of the student every time that they belt test, so it works for me!

Anyways, think I am going to head to bed, so I will ttyl!

okay so about July 8th...

still havent talked with Rachel about that day and what exactly she is doing and all... we will have to see as things get closer...

this was supposed to be a day that we got our announcement pictures done and then come down and visit... (are you going to be in Fostoria or Dayton??)

anyways, now plans have changed a little... Matt's band had scheduled a concert at 11 am on that day without telling him til afterwards.... so we are still coming down, but pictures are going to have to be taken another day... this means that he is just going to have to tell sensei that he is going to be late one night for karate cause I want them done before sending out invitations...

anyways, but i do have an interview tomorrow night, so i am excited!! wish me luck!

okay, so right now it looks like that we should be able to visit Aunt Lori and family on July 8th... but we are also going to try and sneak in taking announcement pictures that morning... hopefully, that all works out cause i am not sure when else we can take pictures... the photographer said that she would double check her schedule, but that that should work out for her too... (it is good to have a photographer as a friend!)

and now, i also need to check in with the hotels around this area and start calling about blocking off rooms for the wedding... and i need to prolly do it soon too cause of the wedding being on a holiday weekend and all... my hope and plan is to have invitations out no later than july, but we will have to see about that... first off, i need to get another job, esp so i have a little extra money on the side to take care of these things...

i am just glad that some things are starting to work out a little better... hopefully things continue to go as planned!!

anyways, i think i am going to start on that hat that i promised matt's sister, so i am off to do that...

Just another post

Well, Saturday went well at the tournament... I had a pretty easy day cause no one was in my division, but me... so it worked out... I was only competing in kata and point sparring... and got first in both cause again I was the only one in my division, but I still had to perform my kata and then spar against someone also without anyone in her division... we knew that this tournament was small, but it was surprising how many divisions only had one person... anyways, matt did well too... he got first in weapons form, kata, and point sparring and then also got second in full contact...

then after all that, we had to go to a graduation party... but i found out that day why we had to go and all... apparently, matt and the band were playing and he was supposed to be there at 5 to start, but because of tournament we didnt get there until 6 or so... anyways, by this time, i was just tired from the tournament and just wanted to go home and relax with him... i just glad that because they played at the party that they didnt have practice that night...

then we went and rented a couple movies and relaxed at home... tried calling josh, but that didnt work out for me, so i text messaged him... anyways, but later, the band came over to hang out and i was hoping the time alone with matt cause we dont usually get it... i didnt say anything and waited til they left... matt knew that something was wrong and pulled it out of me...

anyways, i am nervous about next saturday... i am testing for my next belt... i think that i might be double testing, but i will have to see if i have the money for sure... and hopefully next Saturday night goes better and the gang doesnt come over, but we will see i guess...

and i should be getting my ring back soon too... i got it resized... it was a size and half too big for me, which was kinda shocking... but it really shouldnt cost me more than $30 i think, so I am happy about that!!!

anyways, i think i am going to get some things done around the house... and maybe i can head to bed soon too cause I am actually tired right now, which is a rarity... this weekend took a lot out of me...

but anywho... i will talk to you later!

again about saturday...

so right now, i am not quite sure what is going to happen on saturday... i mean, i am at least going to the tournament, but apparently matt has to work now... which kinda frustrates me, especially since i got the day off, so we could spend it together... i dont know... i guess we will see as the day gets closer...

not much else going on right now... just waiting for karate class to start...

note about Saturday...

so this Saturday should be exciting... we have another tournament to go to and it is in New Haven, IN... apparently that is close to Fort Wayne... but I am excited... Matt said that I am for sure doing my kata cause it looks really good, but I still needed to decide about sparring... And I am still debating about sparring... I guess that I will see how sparring practice goes this week and if I can schedule a lesson with sensei... I just remember how sparring competition went last time and I just got my head knocked around real good (but again that was only after sparring once, so it makes a difference...) If I am sparring, then I am definitely going to try and pull off my roundhouse spinning sidekick... i really like that move and most people dont expect it from a white belt, so it works in my favor...

then also that day, matt and I are hoping to get him onto a family plan with my account of t-mobile... it works cause we dont have to put down a deposit cause of my account already... we would basically just have to pay for the $35 activation fee and whatever his phone would cost (which some phones are discounted and/ or free, so it works...) plus, this helps him since he hasnt gotten a new phone in 2 years and centennial doesnt offer upgrades and such like t-mobile does... plus this will save us about $40 each month... that little bit will help greatly in the end... anyways, but if my number changes then I will let everyone know....
