Well the break-a-thon this past Saturday went pretty well... the school broke about 2,200 boards in 40 minutes, so that was fun... I was able to break 28 boards, which was cool cause it was my first time doing it too... Matt wasnt really able to break this time cause he was busy helping others.... Anyways, In Dying Eyes (a local band) and then Matt's band played afterwards... I missed out on the concert because of work, but I heard that it went really well...

Busy this week cause I am trying to work more on learning the Program Director position for the karate school... Sensei talked to Sempai Dai Kim and I yesterday cause he had both of us there.... but it sounds like Kim and I are going to team up and find a way to make the most money possible...lol... Well, it is a thought anyways... We both are in bad jobs right now and both want to get out, so if we make enough as the program directors then we can quit those jobs for good... which I am all about quitting the restaurant...

Anyways, thought I would post another picture of Matt and I... someone took it at the break-a-thon:



And probably soon we are going to be getting announcement pictures taken outside, so then I can send those out and even post them on here... The photographer is a friend of ours, so she said that she would burn all the pictures onto CD for us...

Well, I need to eat lunch and then I am off to the karate school for the rest of the day... doing stuff around the school until sparring class... then I have to work a booth somewhere in town to help promote the school... so I am basically busy for the rest of the day...

long week

so it has been a long week... not sure if i like Matt working first shift compared to third, esp since the only real night we can be together is saturday night and i am at work until about 10 or so... he even has to go in on saturday morning, but because of the break-a-thon he gets to leave early and only work a half day... i dont know...
the break-a-thon on saturday should be fun... i am not breaking cause i have to go to work at two that day and i dont want my hand sore from breaking boards... Matt is breaking and his band is playing after all the breaking too... kinda disappointed that i am going to miss out on that too... and knowing the guys, they will be over saturday night... they tried coming over during the week, but Matt warned them that he was heading to bed by 10... and so they didnt show up... you'll have that i guess...
well, i really need to go and finish laundry for Matt, so later all!

Just signed up

Okay, so I just signed up for my fourth blog, but this one should be more fun... Sometimes people just never comment to ya on the other ones and it is more like you are talking to yourself anyways... But it will be nice to keep in touch with you Lori... and you are right, it will be easier to keep these things updated than sending mass emails to family... And I just signed up me cause I know that when it comes to blogging, it might be a month or so before Matt updates... lol So I will just keep you all updated on what is going on with us... Right now not much... Just kinda woke up and all... Matt is at work right now... He got switched to first shift cause he is being trained for CNC... it will be like this for about a month, which I am quite happy about cause I will get to see him a little more... But the new job is also getting to being tiring for his body cause he is not used to the standing up on concert for the shift cause he was using a forklift before.... So yeah, but I started job shadowing at the karate school, so when the new karate school opens up I will be able to do that... I am really excited about that, but I basically get paid off commissions and that money will be set into an account so we can use it for any testing fees or anything else we might need, so that will be nice... Plus, since I am considered my training is being discounted, so we dont even have to pay that much for me, which helps out a lot...
Well, that is about it for now... I am going to go and get ready for the day... Prolly should do some laundry, but that might happen later tonight... talk to you all later!
